Adult Hentai Destination Fakku Down After Host Drops Them

The hentai and manga adult industries are as popular as ever. But for one of the web’s most popular adult hentai content destinations, new obstacles are preventing it from conducing normal business.

Fakku’s online adult store is now down. The site, which features 18+ content, says that its host abruptly parted ways.

“As of August 31st, 2021, FAKKU is unable to accept orders for digital or physical goods (doujin, games, books, apparel, etc) from our store, which was hosted by a 3rd party service. This does not impact FAKKU Unlimited subscriptions. Pre-orders placed before August 31st, 2021 will be shipped to customers on time and without issue, barring any unforeseen unrelated circumstances. We are actively working to create an order status page for these orders that will provide tracking and additional information,” Fakku explained.

Fakku is pursuing the creation of a new store hosting solution. Many of the store’s titles are found on Amazon, so fans of the network do indeed have an outlet for purchasing some items.

Fakku’s situation resembles that of the OnlyFans drama where third-party billers expressed disdain for OnlyFans’ allowance of adult content. This disdain led to a brief policy change which restricted adult content on the network. OnlyFans eventually (and famously) reversed course. But the brief and dramatic interim period exposed how reliant adult natured sites are on third parties for hosting and billing.

Back in 2015, Fakku launched an esports deal. Fakku is well known for its fan translations and manga merchandise. Its an extremely popular destination for manga fans.
