UC8

UC8 follows the story of a recently divorced man who, eager for a fresh start, accepts a transfer from managing a thirty-screen University Cinema to running the busiest 8-screen theater in the small college town of Renwick. During the move, he discovers that his high school sweetheart passed away a year earlier - and that he is the father of her oldest child. When he finds his daughter, Kayla, struggling to care for her younger half-sister while living in a motel, he invites them to move in with him in Renwick, where Kayla can attend the local university. Will our protagonist be able to build a healthy relationship with his long-lost daughter? How will he adjust to life in Renwick? Will he mesh with the theater staff or need to make big changes?
