In Inquisitor Trainer, you play a female whose job is to investigate a heretical cult. No one is talking to you, and that makes your investigation next to impossible. Somehow you've got to find a way to get information from people without causing too much of a rift. The cult can't know that you're onto them, but you must get enough info about their illegal activities to prosecute them. No one ever told you that becoming an investigator would be so difficult or so demanding.
